| Over the years I have found much help from various web sites and
developers who make their utilities available as freeware. In an
attempt to pass along what has helped me, I've decided to compile some
of the most useful links here.
I must emphasize that I am NOT the
author of any of the software listed here. I've simply used it
to solve problems for myself or my customers.
This will be a benefit to me as well as to you because I will be able
to easily access this resource when I'm at a customer site and don't
otherwise have access to it.
I've also found several email newsletters that I've found helpful.
The security newsletters are particularly beneficial because timeliness
is what really counts when there is an outbreak of a virus, worm,
malware, etc.
Feel free to make use of my list as you see fit. For every item
I've listed there are hundreds more I've forgotten about or never seen.
If you know of a site that should be added, by all means, tell me about
it on the feedback page. If you find a dead link, please let me
know that as well.
A final note. Some sites charge for their service. Only
you can decide whether it is worth it. In the listing to the left
